We all have a box somewhere of our most precious memories captured on videotape. From baby's first steps, piano recitals, weddings, birthdays and many, many more priceless memories. We have all captured hours of priceless moments on videotapes.
VHS videotapes, however, will not last forever. Just as eight track tapes and vinyl record albums have become a thing of the past, so will videotapes. Videotapes can also get caught in your VCR, be left in the sun and warp, be stepped on and broken or just break after years and years of play. Videotapes can also can be lost while just sitting in your entertainment stand due to the magnetic tape deteriorating over time.
No one knows for sure how long it takes a videotape to deterioate completely --- but why risk losing your precious memories???
We can transfer your VHS tapes to a DVD Disc. Each DVD Disc will contain approximately 2 hours (120 minutes) of video. Just like a store bought DVD, your Disc will contain menus and chapters. It will be securely stored in a plastic DVD case with a full color cover.
Please allow 2-7 days for your videotape to be converted to a DVD --- especially during the holidays. Additional copies of your new DVD may be purchased for only $10.00.

Additional Information about Memory DVDs...
Picture size cannot exceed 8 x 10 inches(unless it is already in digital format).
If digital pictures are provided, they must be at least 640x480 pixels in resolution. Image smaller than 640x480 will be too small to display or appear pixelated (distorted) when stretched to fill the screen.
Picture quality of a Memory DVD depends on the quality of the pictures supplied.
No extra fees will be charged if all pictures are pre-scanned by the customer and provided in a common digital format (*.jpg, *.tiff, *.png, *.gif, *.bmp). For every photo that needs to be scanned by Everlasting Memories, a $0.25 per photo fee will be charged. We accept digital photos on CD, DVD or memory cards. Almost all Professionally taken photos are copyrighted and thus cannot be scanned. If you would like to use a professionally taken photo in your Everlasting Memories DVD, please first contact the photographer for permission.
Everlasting Memories reserves the right to refuse to place any photo it deems vulgar or pornographic on the DVD. Any photo that could be potentially seen as illegal (i.e. child pornography) will be provided to the local authorities.
All media must be received one week in advance. Photos must be numbered in the order you want them to appear during your Everlasting Memories DVD playback. Digital photos should have their file names changed to the number and physical photos should be numbered on the back either with a pencil (or securely attached sticky note).
Songs are either supplied by the customer from the song's original CD or Everlasting Memories will download the song(s) requested from the iTunes Music Store.
Songs will be charged at the "Additional Song" price of $1.50.
Movie clips can be up to 10 minutes. Additional video may be included at the cost of $5 per 5 minute increments. Clips can come from most common formats: VHS Tape, 8mm Tape, Mini DV Tape, DVD, CD or Memory Cards.
Rush Service is also available for an additional charge of $25.00.
